Mark 8:31        The Son of Man must:

                              suffer many things

                              be rejected

                              be killed

                              after three days rise again

Mark 8:32-33    Co-opting "Messiah"

                         Co-opting "Disciple"

JESUS' PLAIN-TALK DEFINITION OF "DISCIPLE"

Mark 8:34-37    If anyone wishes to come after me, he must:

                               deny himself

                               take up his cross

                               follow me

                          Whoever loses his life for My sake and the Gospel's...

Mark 8:38          Whoever is ashamed of me and my words...
