1. God’s Providence and Sovereignty
- Caring for David’s parents (22:3)

- He fulfills his word always (Prov. 30:5)
2. Saul’s jealousy and pride.
- You make yourself the center of everything (Col. 3:5).
- You act in anger as your own sovereign (22:17-18).
- You make yourself an enemy of God (22:19).
Conclusion: God is our refuge (Psalm 57:1-5)
