Jesus, the Son of God: THE Good News (v.1)

 I. Preparation for Jesus(v.2-8) - Jesus’ arrival is expected and then prepared for.

II. The Inauguration of Jesus’ ministry (v. 9-11)
- The ministry of Christ begins by His baptism and public blessing by God the Father.

III. Jesus, into the Wilderness (v. 12-13)
- Immediately after Jesus is blessed and sent out by God the Father, he is led directly into trial and temptation by God the Father.

IV. The Way of Jesus - The Way of Jesus requires effort
- The Way of Jesus is accompanied by the Holy Spirit
- The Way of Jesus passes through adversity
